About

Picnics at the ready for Keynsham's celebration of the Queen's Platinum Jubilee! Visit Keynsham Memorial Park between midday and 6pm for free themed family activities and entertainment, while enjoying Keynsham's green spaces.

The event will include musical entertainment on the bandstand from Ruby Jazz, Magpie and the Shiny Things, The Woods, and Keynsham Brass Band.

Picnickers will be joined by characters from Alice and Wonderland, as part of a giant Mad Hatter's Tea Party.

Children are invited to bring along teddy bears to the picnic, with prizes available for the best-dressed jubilee bear. There will be a cake-decorating competition, so bring along your decorated jubilee sandwich sponge or cake for judging.

There will be special screenings of a new film entitled 'Keynsham Jubilee Conversations', shown in the Baptist Church. The film features Keynsham residents discussing their memories of the royals and jubilees gone by.
