Exceptional young players from the OAE's Experience scheme highlight some of the most captivating repertoire for brass ensemble using period instruments. Directed by leading players in their fields – David Blackadder, Philip Dale and Adrian Bending (OAE Principal Trumpet, Trombone and Timpani) – the band will showcase music from around Europe and describe how their instruments have developed into their modern descendants that you see today.
