About

Visit the Herschel Museum of Astronomy to have the opportunity to take part in daytime astronomy on the day of the summer solstice from the very garden the planet Uranus was discovered in 1781.

The solar telescopes and Bath Astronomers will be in the garden from 10am to 5pm to guide you so you can observe the Sun safely and tell you more about your nearest star.

Solstice will occur at 10.13 GMT.

Free with normal admission to the museum.

Generously supported by the Bath Astronomers.
