Art Masterclasses
For 11-18 year olds

An opportunity for GCSE and A level Art students and young people interested in exploring art to focus on specialist techniques in a friendly, small group environment. All classes are taught by expert artists.


Friday 16 February, 11am-4pm
Colour Connections 

£30 (all materials included) – (maximum 12 places)

Explore vibrant colour combinations and mixed media techniques to produce an accomplished Still Life composition inspired by our exhibition Anthony Fry (1927-2016) A Retrospective.

This masterclass is led by Louise Campion (the Holburne’s Learning Officer) who has over 20 years’ experience of teaching art.

Expressive Portraiture: Clay Busts
£30 (all materials included) – (maximum 12 places)

Learn how to sculpt an expressive 3D head in clay, working from your own observational sketches and inspired by the work of the 17th century artist to King Louis XIV, Charles Le Brun.
Led by Louise Campion (Learning Officer)

(Please note we will be using air-drying clay which will not be fired).
