Cotswolds Vineyards & Wine Tasting Tour

About

Give your taste buds a treat and explore the Cotswolds in a different way by sampling some of England’s finest wines.

On this exciting private day tour from Bath, we will be visiting and enjoying personal guided tours of two remarkable Cotswolds vineyards.

The secret is now definitely out - English wine has arrived on the scene with a bang and is achieving global acclaim and winning numerous awards!

This rapidly emerging industry owes its success primarily to a warming climate and the ideal, nutrient-rich soil conditions that have been laid down on the local limestone bedrock.

The majority of the vineyards in this beautiful corner of England are still family owned and have been established within the past twenty years. Their grape varieties include Seyval Blanc, Pinot Noir, Phoenix and Bacchus.

These boutique vineyards pride themselves on producing a selection of traditional sparkling and carefully crafted white, rose and red wines, all of which reflect the excitement currently bubbling up within the English viticulture scene.

During the day we will either stop for a traditional pub lunch or enjoy a wicked English Cream Tea (think of scones, strawberry jam and lashings of clotted cream).

This-door-to-door service will transport you through a world famous area of the English countryside in the comfort of a luxury Mercedes V Class and return you to Bath at the end of a memorable day.
