Mr B's is delighted to announce an upcoming event featuring author Annie Garthwaite, who will be discussing her remarkable new novel, "The King's Mother," at the bookstore. This captivating story takes readers on a journey from the tumultuous Wars of the Roses to the dawn of the Tudor age, exploring themes of maternal ferocity, female ambition, and the complex relationships between mothers and sons.

Annie Garthwaite's debut novel, "Cecily," garnered critical acclaim, earning recognition as a top pick by The Times and The Sunday Times, as well as being named a Best Book of the Year by independent bookshops and Waterstones.
