The Palladian mansion which dates from 1720 is set in 500 acres of parkland which can be explored on foot or on horse back as the hotel has an extensive equestrian centre. Road Directions

Exit M4 jct 18 and take A46 towards Bath. Continue for 3 miles through Pennsylvania to Cold Ashton roundabout. Turn left onto A420 signed Chippenham and continue for 5 miles (pass through village of The Shoe and ignore the turning to Colerne). Continue for 2.5 miles and at Ford turn right towards Colerne. After 3 miles drive past hotel trade entrance and continue for 1 mile to Colerne crossroads. Turn right into Doncombe Lane. Entrance to hotel 300 yards on right.
