Thermae Bath Spa

About

Thermae Bath Spa provides the opportunity to bathe in Bath's naturally warm, mineral-rich waters as the Celts and Romans did over 2,000 years ago.

Thermae is a remarkable combination of ‘old and new’ where historic spa buildings blend with the contemporary design of the New Royal Bath. Enjoy a two-hour spa session which includes full access to the 35.5˚ centigrade waters and flowing curves of the Minerva Bath, a multi-sensory Wellness Suite, and the open-air Rooftop Pool with spectacular views across the skyline of Bath.

In the Springs Café, guests can enjoy light snacks and drinks throughout the day and evening.

A towel and robe are provided. 2-hour spa sessions can be booked in advance or organised on the day.

Spa Treatments and Twilight packages should be booked in advance by calling the Reservations team on +44 (0)1225 331234.

Individual treatments can be booked separately to packages.

The Treatment package menu offers the Thermae Unwind (£145 Sunday to Friday), Thermae Retreat (£145 Sunday to Friday), Thermae Refresh (£160 Saturdays), Thermae Serenity (£145 Sunday to Friday), Classic Thermae (£160 Sunday to Friday) and Thermae Indulgence (£190 Sunday to Friday). All feature a two-hour spa session and a treatment from a choice including massages and facials.

Full details can be found on the Thermae Bath Spa website.

Accessibility Information

Thermae is wheelchair accessible with lifts, sloping corridor or ramps to all locations (except No. 8 Shop). Floors are level and main complex areas can also be reached via the main staircase.

Electric wheelchairs are not permitted at poolside or in the Wellness Suite. There are ‘poolside’ wheelchairs for guests to gain access to the facilities. These are for ‘general use’ and not allocated to a given guest. Staff are not available to push guests around the Spa.

Mobility scooters are not permitted in the Spa but there is a covered area outside the Main Reception, where they can be left at owner’s risk.

Mobility scooters are not permitted in the Cross Bath. There is a covered area outside the entrance, where they can be left at owner’s risk.

There is an accessible unisex changing room, showers and toilets.

Many of the therapy beds can be lowered to assist access.
