Chapel Arts Centre & Café
Chapel’s programme of performances is very eclectic with a strong focus on Music especially acoustic Folk, Roots, and Jazz, sometimes edging towards the quirky. There’s also a wide range of dance, musical theatre, performance and mixed media on offer. Performances vary week to week and there’s always a great choices at weekends.
There is also a regular section of Cabaret on offer - from Swing, 50's dance nights with live band, Club Cairo - Middle Eastern Belly-dancing nights and every 2 months, our ever so popular, and nearly always sold out, Burlesque.
Many of Bath’s popular Festivals as well as Bath Spa University Student Productions are held at the venue. With exceptional acoustics and lighting, cabaret style seating and a relaxed convivial atmosphere Chapel offers audiences a quality night out.
Chapel Live Arts Café
Chapel also has a welcoming wholly vegetarian Arts Café serving bistro style Italian & English fusion food, scrummy home-made cakes, pastries, local ale and perfect Cappuccino’s. The café is open for snacks, lunches and some pre show meals from 9.30 daily. The Arts Café is also an exhibition space for local artists to exhibit, a meeting hub for the local artisan population.
