About

This December, visit Avon Valley for a day of festive, family fun in a Christmas experience like no other in the South West.

Celebrating one of the best times of the year, Avon Valley prides itself in transporting you and your family to a place of Christmas wonder and magic. There is so much to enjoy at the park this year in a specially curated day complete with an theatrical show and several themed activities and entertainment areas to enjoy. Book your timed slot for 'Santa's Sleigh Surprise Show,' and enjoy the rest of the festive fun from 9.30am.

Included in the day:

Santa's Sleigh Surprise Show* - In the heart of Lapland, magic is in the air as the Candy Cane Crew prepare for the biggest, bestest Christmas ever! Trees are being decorated, presents are being wrapped and puddings are being baked, but there's something mysterious going on...

When Santa is in town you're in for a big surprise, so have your wishes at the ready and join us for a family show jam-packed with festive fun and full to the brim with mince pies and mischief. Full of magic, song and dance, there will be an opportunity to have a photo with Santa at the end.

*Please note that when you book your ticket you will also need to book a time slot for this show. You can then enjoy the rest of the day in your own time.

Santa's Toy Shop - Santa has given you permission to visit his Toy Shop, and with a magic token, every ticket holder can choose their own gift.

A Recipe for Rudolph Show - Panic is in the air when Rudolph the red-nosed reindeer loses his Christmas cheer. Without the light of his special nose to guide his sleigh, Santa is stuck and Christmas is in danger of being canceled! Can Spud save the day and get him back on his hooves in time? Join Rudolph and Spud for a rollercoaster ride as they race against the clock to get Rudolph feeling fully festive ready for Christmas Eve.

Reindeer Food Making - Our resident reindeer, Donner & Blitzen are getting ready for their big flight, so come and wish them well (and make sure they know your postcode)! You can make your own environmentally friendly reindeer food to take home with you.

Mrs Claus' Kitchen - This is where the real magic happens! Mrs Claus and her helpers will take you through how she decorates gingerbread people ready for Christmas Day!

The Magical Forest - Walk through this amazing little magical forest. With the use of some special elf specs the forest will come alive with twinkles and surprises.

Santa's Post Room - The Post Room will be open for you to post your letter to Santa and you can use the Avon Valley SMS (Santa Messaging Service) to send any last-minute requests.

Elf Hunt - The game will help you travel around the park making sure you don't miss out on anything!

Polar Express - The Polar Express Miniature Steam Train.

Candy Socks Sweet Shop - Visit Candy Socks, the chief sweetie elf in her shop and buy some amazing sweets!

The Grinch's House - Feeling brave? Why not knock on the Grinch's house door and see if you can make his heart grow!

Play Barn Disco - Let your kids bust some moves inside Avon Valley's play barn, which will play host to a massive disco party!

Photo Opportunities - Love a seasonal snap for the album or grid? Dotted around the park as the children explore there will be photo opportunities galore!
