About

In this talk, Dr Helena Crouch will give an introduction to ferns and illustrate the range of species to be found within Bath. The varied habitats around the city now support a greater variety of these beautiful plants than ever before, the reasons for which will be explored.

Dr Helena Crouch is Botanical Recorder for VC6 (North Somerset) for the Botanical Society of Britain and Ireland and Secretary of Bath Nats. Ferns are one of Helena's favourite botanical subjects.

This is a Bath Natural History Society talk: tickets available on the door, £3. For more information about Bath Nats please see their website.
