About

Learn about William and Caroline Herschel's remarkable discoveries in the house where they lived and worked.

In this 2 hour workshop, children will:

Learn about the history and importance of William and Caroline Herschel's space discoveries
Explore the museum with a trail to complete
Complete a hands on space-themed activity
Open to home educated children, suggested age 7-11.

Once you have booked your ticket, please email learning@bptrust.org.uk and let them know your child's age.

Children must be accompanied by an adult (max. 4 children per adult). Not suitable for children under 4.

Please note the museum is not wheelchair or pushchair accessible.

Sensory resources are available to support any children who may benefit from them.

Due to limited space on the workshop, please do not bring siblings who will not be taking part. (Please contact the museum if this presents a barrier to attendance).

£6.50 per child, advance booking essential.
