About

A family adventure through the whizzpopping stories of Roald Dahl

Once upon a time…four of the most magical words in the English language! But what happens when you add music to a story? We'll be finding out when some of Roald Dahl's most famous texts are set to music. Join the West of England Youth Orchestra for a captivating musical celebration of beloved author Roald Dahl's work. We'll hear Paul Patterson's fantastic setting of Little Red Riding Hood, music from Tim Minchin's record-breaking West End musical Matilda, plus plenty more surprises – all conducted and presented by WEYO favourites Karen Ní Bhroin and Tom Redmond. This concert is fun for the whole family! There are two performances, a 3pm and a 6pm.
