The story starts with a tale as old as time, a young rebellious daughter and an overprotective father who only wants what is best for her. All Princess Rose wants to do is explore the world outside of the castle, but her father the King must protect her from the evil curse Carabosse placed over the princess as a young baby.

Princess Rose defies her father and on one of her many adventures outside of the castle, she meets a handsome young prince, and they fall in love but before they can marry, Princess Rose is pricked by a poisonous needle and is put to sleep for 100 years!

Featuring all the traditional aspects of a Christmas panto; a whitty sidekick, a wonderfully eccentric dame, great music and even greater dancing, Sleeping Beauty isn't one to be missed over the festive season.

Sleeping Beauty is at Theatre Royal Bath until 7 January 2024, with matinee performances and accessible performances available. Tickets can be purchased here.
