As the sun goes down, Bath comes alive with an abundance of activity and vibrant nightlife. There is always something to do and see - from cinema to live comedy to fringe theatre and West End productions.


Theatre RoyalThe Theatre Royal is renowned for the many pre-West End productions and major stars that appear every year. The theatre also has an active programme of opera, ballet and Christmas pantomime. The Ustinov Studio, situated at the rear of the Theatre Royal provides superb facilities for comedy, drama, music and talented youth theatre.

Bath's nightlife appeals to all tastes. Music lovers can choose from classical concertos and choral music to live jazz and folk. Bath also boasts a number of nightclubs or for a hilarious night out try the Bizarre Bath evening walk. For a spooky tour of the city, Ghost Walks regularly take place after dark.

Delftur KrugDelfter Krug - By day, Delfter Krug is perfect for summer time drinking, eating and relaxing. Sub 13Sub 13 - A stylish cocktail bar that's been successfully trading since 2004. It is for those who appreciate quality, with great drinks, a lively clientele and a warm inviting atmosphere. It also has a large garden to the rear and specially designated areas for smokers.


Ladies NightBath Racecourse - has nine evening meetings this year, all with added entertainment after the horse racing. Bath Philharmonia Orchestra - Bath Philharmonia has established itself as one of the leading professional ensembles in the South West of England, boasting some of the finest and most experienced orchestral players in Britain. The orchestra is involved in 25-30 performances annually throughout the region. Bath Philharmonia actively promotes major orchestral performance with major international soloists in important venues in the area. Bath Philharmonia's artistic team is headed by one of Britain's leading young conductors Jason Thornton, alongside the distinguished musician Peter Donohoe as Principal Guest Conductor. After Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra Bath Philharmonia is the largest professional organisation of its type in the cultural sector in the South West of England.
