Celebrating Bath’s most famous resident, The Jane Austen Centre offers a snapshot of life during Regency times and explores how living in this magnificent city affected Jane Austen’s life and writing. ‘Live’ Guides, costume, film, superb giftshop and an authentic period atmosphere await you at this premier attraction. Don't forget to visit our Regency themed Tea Rooms up on the 2nd floor. Enjoy a pot of real leaf tea, some home made cake or a delicious light snack. The Tea Rooms have been awarded the prestigious Tea Guild’s ‘Award of Excellence’ for the second year running.
Opening times:
April to October: 9:45am - 5.30pm everyday.
Late opening July and August - Thursday to Saturday until 7pm
November to March: Sun - Fri 11am - 4.30pm Sat 9:45am - 5.30pm
Closed Christmas and New Year.
