Bath Christmas Market open despite weather

2nd December 2010

Bath Christmas Market is still open and ready to welcome visitors despite the current weather conditions.  With a fine dusting of snow covering the wooden chalets, the market is looking beautifully festive, offering the perfect Christmas shopping experience.

Bath Christmas Market will be running for an extra week this year - until 12th December - providing plenty of time for shoppers to explore the wonderful range of gifts on sale and soak up the festive atmosphere.  With 129 stalls selling a variety of handmade decorative items, children’s products, accessories, jewellery and fine foods, it’s the perfect place to find a special gift for family and friends.  And there’s plenty of food and drink to keep shoppers warm too - with mulled wine proving very popular at the moment!

With a central train and bus station, reaching Bath by public transport is easy.  The Park & Ride services are recommended for drivers and have been extended especially.  For more information on transport to and from Bath and to download a free Travel Guide go to www.visitbath.co.uk.

A full list of stalls and further information about Bath Christmas Market can be found on the official website: www.bathchristmasmarket.co.uk.  Alternatively, contact the Tourist Information Centre for expert advice on 0906 711200 (50p/min).
