Film Office
The Bath Film Office promotes and assists film-making in Bath & North East Somerset to ensure that your shoot runs as smoothly as possible. Film-makers have been attracted to our area for over 50 years, so we're used to dealing with all kinds of filming requests, from feature films to student shorts, commercials to travel programmes, and all sorts of documentaries.
As part of Bath & North East Somerset Council, our free service offers:
- Information on locations, local crew, media facilities and local businesses
- Liaison with all necessary council departments and key local contacts such as the police
- Local community contacts
- Advice on crew-friendly accommodation
As an accredited film commission, we've been offering this service since 1993 and have built up an excellent film friendly reputation throughout the industry. We have strong links with our regional partners, SW Screen and Bristol Film Office.
Research
Research is currently being undertaken into the influence of movies and television on people's tourism decisions, for the UK Film Council and other screen and tourism agencies. To help with this please complete the Film & TV questionnaire.
