For railway enthusiasts or Thomas the Tank Engine fans, Bath and beyond is a real delight! There are both diesel and steam train rides available at a range of attractions across the region.

The skyline walk visits hidden valleys, tranquil woodlands and patchworks of meadows - rich in wildlife and plant species. Bath is a city shaped by its waters. The River Avon and Kennet and Avon Canal run through the city and offer an excellent opportunity to get active with boating, punting and canoeing all available. The waterways also provide great historic interest and the opportunity to spot plenty of wildlife.
Bath and beyond is packed with an A-Z of activities, sports and outdoor adventures, some laid back, others pumped up with adrenaline. Sports and leisure facilities are second to none. As well as cricket, cycling and walking there's golf, riding, water sports, rugby, horse racing, rowing on the river and cruising on the canal.
