Type: Cycling Tour
This great tour runs daily except Mondays or days next to state holidays. It’s an easy ride of approx. 17 half miles and is more than suitable for recreational cyclists.
This fantastic excursion begins at your hotel apporx. 9.30am where you will be driven to our bike centre in Bathampton (1 mile on the outskirts of the city). The Tour is mostly on cycle track with limited traffic. Our exhilerating tour takes us along the canal path passing the stunning Dundas Aquaduct and onto Avoncliff and the historic town of Bradford on Avon. Here we will stop for a light refreshment in a true English pub. Once rested we will be back on the bikes for an 8 mile route to the city centre where you will be shown some of the finest architecture sights in Europe including the Royal Crescent, The Circus, Pulteney Bridge and Bath Abbey.
After the spectacular sight-seeing we will then leave the bikes and stop for lunch at a Boutique Georgian Café. After lunch we arrange the transport of your bike back to Bathampton while you have the opportunity to spend a free afternoon exploring the shops in the romantic city. We will furnish you with a map of Bath so you can visit other great tourist highlights.
