Royal Crescent, Bath

Bath By Cycle

None

Type: Cycle

At Bath by Cycle we offer traditional and electric bicycles to be rented by the day or for a 3 hr session. Cycling in Bath is a rewarding, cheap and enjoyable option to those people who wish to experience the city’s many historical sites and the surrounding area.

The Two Tunnels Cycle Path (due to open in 2011) will give you the opportunity to complete an almost level circular route of 13 miles, and includes the longest cyclable tunnel in the country at almost 1 mile long - it's an experience not to be missed. Bristol is within reach via the car free surfaced cycle path to the west and to the south east, Bradford on Avon makes a fulfilling excursion using the unsurfaced canal towpath cycle track. Both destination routes are virtually flat and can be enjoyed at your own pace and leisure with plenty of country pubs and cafes to help make your day more pleasurable.

Bicycles can be booked on-line, by phone or in person at Bath by Cycle, located on Bathwick Hill just a few minutes walk from the city centre.

Suggested routes are shown on our maps along with main points of interest and the favourites of Bath by Cycle.

Many thousands of people visit Bath each year from all over the country and the world. With so many visitors there are many ways to see the historic sites and places in the city. What we at Bath by Cycle would like to offer is an alternative way of getting about and allow you to see so much more of Bath and local area than is usually allowed due to vehicular restrictions and time, and at your own pace.

Bath by Cycle is located on Bathwick hill just by the canal. We are a few minutes walk from the city either via Great Pulteney Street, North Parade or along the canal itself from Widcombe.
