Type: Retreat

My name is Peter Scruby and I have been a qualified, professional body worker for 10 years specialising in Shiatsu, Swedish Massage, Deep Tissue Massage , Indian Head Massage and Acupressure Massage. I give very effective, relaxing treatments specifically tailored to your own needs and preferences. What makes my treatments so unique is that I am able to draw on elements from all of my different therapies to create a powerful fusion which allows me to treat you more individually and successfully. My aim is not only to help you relax and unwind but also to help relieve specific conditions and restore good health. My treatments take place at a beautiful, tranquil practice located in the centre of Bath (www.thepracticerooms.co.uk) or I can come to your home or office.

The Therapies I offer:

Shiatsu is a gentle yet powerful full body hands-on treatment for maintaining great health and well-being. You don’t have to possess a specific condition to benefit from Shiatsu; it is an amazing treatment to receive as a well-deserved treat for your body, enabling it to deal better with the daily strains and stresses of life. Shiatsu treatments are usually given on a floor level futon, a table, or a chair and the client stays fully clothed throughout.

Swedish Massage – a deeply relaxing full body treatment using oils.

Deep Tissue Massage – an especially effective treatment for releasing more stubborn muscle tension.

Indian Head Massage – a relaxing and revitalising traditional massage for the head and upper body.

Acupressure Massage – an energising and de-stressing massage carried out on a ‘state of the art’ ergonomic chair for the back, shoulders, neck, arms, hands and head.

Pelvic Alignment – a simple yet effective treatment for correcting postural problems and can be combined with Shiatsu.
