Thatchers Cider

About

Thatchers are cider makers with their home at Myrtle Farm in Sandford, Somerset. They craft a range of ciders, including their much-loved smooth and golden Thatchers Gold; their naturally hazy Thatchers Haze brimming with fruitiness; and their vibrant and sparkling Blood Orange. Don’t forget too, Thatchers Zero, for those who opt for alcohol-free.

Nestled at the foot of the Mendip Hills, the Thatchers orchards are their pride and joy. It’s here that the journey starts, inspired by the heritage and values of the company. From their beautiful apples, to the knowledge that has been passed down over the generations, they take care to stay true to their roots.

At Myrtle Farm you’ll find the Thatchers Cider Shop, where the shelves are packed with their ciders, alongside produce such as local cheeses and chutneys, and gifts. Their draught ciders are available straight from the barrel, so you can try before you buy. The Shop has an accessible WC and is level access.

Why not book onto a tour of Myrtle Farm and see how they make their ciders, and combine it with a visit to their pub, The Railway Inn. Please note that due to the uneven terrain of the farm, tours are not accessible.
