Day One
On arrival into Bath, you'll probably want to grab a quick bite before exploring all the city has to offer!
Bath Pizza Co have a broad range of award-winning pizzas in the impressive settings of the former Green Park Station. Take advantage of their 'Pizza & Pint or Prosecco' offer, where you can enjoy a margherita, pepperoni or marinara pizza and your choice of a pint, prosecco or soft drink for £15 from 12-6pm Monday to Friday. You can also choose from a range of spritzes for £6 between 12 and 5pm every day of the week, best enjoyed on one of the restaurant's sunny terraces!

If you're looking for a lighter bite, choose from salads, Italian panini or bruschetta at Pane e Vino, just behind the Royal Crescent, or tuck into salad boxes or falafel bowls at Eat a Pitta, piled high with salad, vegetables and homemade sauces. For more vegetarian goodness, head to Michelin Green Star holder OAK Restaurant, where you can tuck in to a delicious three-course set lunch for £19.95 from Monday to Friday.

Once you're fueled up for the day, sample some local produce or hone your own kitchen skills.
Bath and its surrounding area is home to a range of excellent cookery schools, where you can master everything from bread making and foraging to pasta or Middle Eastern cuisine.

Don't miss Yuup Bath's selection of tours, tastings and classes to suit all budgets, or book onto one of Savouring Bath's delicious tours of the city's artisan food and drink producers.
Sample local beers at The Bath Brew House, where you can also book onto tours of their on-site microbrewery and try your hand at brewing. You'll find more local craft beers nearby at The Grapes and Kingsmead Bottle Shop. Outside the city centre in the quiet suburb of Newbridge, you'll also find Electric Bear Brewing's taproom, which hosts regular weekly events and food pop-ups.

Mid-afternoon calls for a sweet treat, and there’s no better place to find one than Swoon, who serve delicious gelato. Since opening on Kingsmead Square in 2017, they’ve brought an authentic taste of Italy to Bath with an ever-changing menu; the vegan Chocolate Sorbetto and creamy Pistachio are two of their bestsellers.

Once the evening rolls around, savour mouth-watering locally sourced food accompanied by live music at Green Park Brasserie, Bath Pizza Co's sister restaurant, which hosts free performances from talented Bath artists four nights a week.

If you want to experience one of Bath's top bistros, book a table at Corkage for seasonal small plates, or tuck into French classics at Chez Dominique. The Elder specialises in local and foraged ingredients prepared to the higest standard, while Beckford Canteen serves up a contemporary menu complimented by an extensive wine list.

Before retiring for the night, head to one of the city's top cocktail bars to try their latest creations, from the vintage glamour of The Bootlegger Bath, to the cosy corners of The Hideout.
Day Two
Start your day by picking up some local produce and specialities from our delis and food shops. If you're here at the weekend, you can visit the Bath Farmers Market, held in Green Park Station every Saturday morning from 9am. The beloved Guildhall Market is also open from Monday to Saturday, with its wide range of stalls selling traditional foods and gifts. If you want to bring home some local tipples, look no further than Independent Spirit of Bath, or if it's cheese and preserves you're craving, pay a visit to The Fine Cheese Co and Paxton & Whitfield.

If your stomachs are rumbling after a morning hitting the shops, head up to Beckford Bottle Shop on Saville Row. Treat yourself to a bite to eat at the inventive small plates restaurant with over 250 wines, British cheese, and charcuterie to choose from. Sink into one of their comfortable armchairs in the downstairs cellar lounge, or perch in a window seat and watch the world go by.

If you have a particular cuisine in mind, Bath has plenty of options, from pizza at Dough to Vietnamese plates at Noya's Kitchen, or Japanese dishes at Robun.
Enjoy a lunchtime curry feast at Bandook Indian Kitchen with sides and a dessert for just £15, a lunchtime thali at Bikanos, or a main with chips, peas and tartare sauce at The Scallop Shell.
