About

OAK is a seasonal, plantbased restaurant in Bath, serving lunch and dinner daily. The menu is ever-changing, shaped entirely by what is available from their own garden and trusted local growers.

Awarded a Green Star by the Michelin Guide for its commitment to sustainability, OAK puts soil health and responsible farming at the heart of everything it does and specialises in organic, biodynamic, and low-intervention ingredients that are seasonal and local.

The kitchen works in a small plates format, designed for sharing. Handmade pasta and focaccia are made in-house each day, alongside dishes built around home-grown vegetables from their chemical-free market garden just outside the city. The menu is all vegetarian and vegan.

The drinks list reflects the same philosophy, with low-intervention wines, house-crafted botanical soft drinks and a seasonal selection of preserves and pickles.

Guests are also welcome to pop in for a bottle of natural wine or a bouquet of local flowers to take away.

FAQs

Is there a set menu?

You can choose from the a la carte menu (available daily for lunch and dinner), or the OAK Five Course Feast (available daily for dinner only). There is also an optional wine-matching option with the Five Course Feast.

What days is OAK open?

The restaurant is open daily for two food services. Lunch is from 12pm - 2:30pm, and dinner is 5:30pm - 9:30pm.

Is there any meat on the menu?

There is no meat served at OAK, but there is a wonderful range of vegetable-focused dishes.

Do I need to book a table?

There are usually a few tables for walk-ins on the evening, and these are on a first come first serve basis. We would always recommend booking a table if you are keen to dine on a particular day.
