We advise all visitors to consider using one of Bath's Park & Ride services to save money on parking charges, avoid the stress of driving in the city centre, and help improve air quality.
Bath has three Park & Ride services situated on each side of the city to suit motorists approaching from all directions, which operate seven days a week. Buses run into the city centre from all three Park & Ride sites at least every 15 minutes, with a journey time of 10 minutes. All buses are fully accessible for wheelchair users and pushchairs.
Lansdown Park & Ride (service 31) runs from Lansdown to Milsom Street in the north of the city centre. The first bus departs from Lansdown at 6:15am Monday-Saturday and 9:30am on Sundays and Public Holidays. The last bus departs from Milsom Street at 8:30pm Monday-Saturday and 6pm on Sundays and Public Holidays.
Lansdown Park & Ride is the best service to use if you are approaching from the M4 motorway (from South Wales or London).
Newbridge Park & Ride (service 21) runs from Newbridge to Westgate Buildings in the south of the city centre. The first bus departs from Newbridge at 6:15am Monday-Saturday and 9:30am on Sundays and Public Holidays. The last bus departs from Westgate Buildings at 8:30pm Monday-Saturday and 6pm on Sundays and Public Holidays.
Newbridge Park & Ride is the best service to use if you are approaching from Bristol or Keynsham on the A4 Bath Road.
Odd Down Park & Ride (service 41) runs from Odd Down to SouthGate shopping centre in the south of the city centre. The first bus departs from Odd Down at 6:15am Monday-Saturday and 9:30am on Sundays and Public Holidays. The last bus departs from SouthGate at 8:30pm Monday-Saturday and 6pm on Sundays and Public Holidays.
Odd Down Park & Ride is the best service to use if you are approaching from the south (e.g. from Stonehenge and other destinations in Somerset or Wiltshire).
Visitors are encouraged to purchase digital bus tickets in advance using the First Bus app, however physical tickets can be purchased by cash or card aboard all buses. The latest ticket prices and timetables can be found on the First Bus website.
Parking at all three Park & Ride sites is free to those using the bus and returning on the same day. All three sites are open 24/7 and vehicles can be parked overnight at the owner's risk, provided that the necessary payment is made.
Drivers who park at any of Bath's Park & Ride sites but do not use the bus must pay for their parking.

Payments can be made by cash only at the on-site terminals, and by card online via MiPermit.
