Netflix have recently adapted Jane Austen's 1817 novel Persuasion into a feature film – and much of it was filmed here in Bath, where the author once lived and wrote.

Jane Austen lived in Bath from 1801 to 1806, with the city providing inspiration for her novel Persuasion, so it makes sense that Bath's historic Georgian streets would also be used as locations for period adaptations of her work. Netflix's 2022 adaptation of the novel stars Dakota Johnson and Henry Golding, and features beautiful Bath as a backdrop, as do both the 1995 and 2007 adaptations.
