Wookey Hole Caves and Attractions

About

Wookey Hole Resort offers something for everyone. A hotel, luxury lodges with hot tubs, holiday park and world famous attraction Wookey Hole Caves, a day out or weekend away is sure to keep all the family happy.

With a unique selection of accommodation, world renowned caves and the home of the Wookey Hole Witch, Wookey Hole is a bustling resort full of life and fun!

Located in stunning Somerset, surrounded by beautiful countryside and the rolling Mendip Hills, makes this spot just perfect!  Relaxation and adventure can be had when staying at the Wookey Hole Resort.

With over 20 fantastic attractions included in your ticket, a trip to Wookey Hole Caves makes a great family day out, whatever the weather.

Explore these world famous caves including the new Chamber 20, journey through the prehistoric Valley of the Dinosaurs, navigate your way through the famous Magical Mirror Maze, the Wizard’s Play Castle, sit back and relax in the 4D Cinema and much more. The Pirate Island Adventure Golf, Victorian Penny Arcade and  Crazy Mirrors will entertain all ages!

Take a walk on the wild side and meet the prehistoric, animatronic roaring dinosaurs in Dinosaur Valley! Then see what evidence your little palaeontologists will discover of these giants in the little detective’s Dino Dig!

Discover a hidden world of cave explorers in the Cave Diving Museum and see real life footage of these adventurers in Wookey Hole’s secret water underworld.

Now it’s time to see history come to life! Visit the Paper Mill for a hands-on demonstration, where you will be introduced to the ancient art of paper making. Learn the process used to make paper as the friendly guides talk you through the various stages and see if you could have worked in the Paper Mill!

Step back into the days of early man with the very own Cave Museum!.Housing rare and interesting finds from the caves, see which cave animals you can find in the displays and find out which ancient civilisations may have once roamed the area and what they may have left behind…

With two soft play areas and the Pirates of the River Axe ‘Zap Zone’, there are hours more fun to be had inside the Monster Mill!

Whatever you do, you’ll come away with memories to keep forever.
