Free days out for families

Join the free, drop-in Mini Makers sessions at Victoria Art Gallery, or a Story Making Session at Bath Royal Literary and Scientific Institution. Take a stroll through the new sculpture exhibition at The Royal Crescent Hotel, or head to one of the Open Days at The Museum of Bath Stone.

Bath's World Heritage Centre and Botanical Gardens are both free to visit, or you can see a full list of free activities here.

If you're planning a more relaxed time in the city, spend sunny days in the city’s beautiful parks or explore Bath's many outdoor attractions.

You can spend a whole day adventuring at Wookey Hole, where your ticket includes entrance to Wookey Hole Caves, museums, circus shows, Dinosaur Grove, and a 4D Cinema. There's even a hotel or campsite you can stay on next to all of the attractions, with tickets included in the price of your room!
