Shindig Festival returns for its eleventh year with an electrifying lineup and a fresh new location. Dubbed “a pint-sized version of Glastonbury,” this family-friendly event brings together an eclectic mix of international talent, immersive arts, and vibrant community spirit.
Music & Lineup
This year’s programme features a global Fat Dog fuse dance-punk, techno, klezmer and industrial pop. They're already sharing stages with major acts including support slots for Foo Fighters. Snapped Ankles are raw, ritualistic dance-punk – they have a late-night slot for big rave.
WAR, the iconic Long Beach funk, soul, rock band are known for massive sing-along classics like Why Can’t We Be Friends, Low Rider and Spill the Wine. Not forgetting Chali 2NA the bass baritone voice from Jurassic 5 - he is bringing his newly-formed live band.
MY BABY – the much-loved Dutch trio whose riff-driven, roots-psych sound has travelled from cult favourite to major festival stages are on the bill. TEKE::TEKE – the Japanese-Canadian psychedelic rock collective known for their explosive, cinematic sound. Smag På Dig Selv – Denmark’s wildest genre-twisters, will deliver high-octane live chaos.

For those seeking relaxation, the healing field provides yoga, saunas, and massages, while award-winning street food vendors offer a variety of culinary delights. Boutique camping includes luxury accommodations, a private bar, and a pamper parlour.
With no main stages, the festival layout consists of stretch marquees, giant tipis, and hidden venues among the arboretum and secret playgrounds.
A Festival for All Ages
Shindig is known for its family-friendly atmosphere, offering a dedicated Kid’s Area packed with circus skills, climbing walls, space hoppers, sandpits, a graffiti wall, and DJ & breakdance workshops. The Craft Area will feature felt making, spoon whittling, woodworking, and jewellery workshops for all ages.

The festival is suitable for all ages, with family activities including a full daily programme at The Kids Kingdom and kid- friendly films will be shown in the Cinema daily until 10pm.
Accessibility
Shindig Festival is held on parkland and the majority of the ground is very even and firm. Access can be challenging at times, particularly in bad weather conditions. If it rains, it may get muddy and access around the site may become very difficult.
One Personal Assistant ticket is available for those who need it at no additional cost.
Anyone requiring accessibility parking must have purchased or been allocated a standard Car or Live-in vehicle pass in advance.
An accessible toilet will be provided on the end of every row of toilets.
The main bar has a lowered area for ordering drinks and stewards are always around if assistance is required. The festival does not have viewing platforms. If you need to be at the front of the stage please speak to the nearest steward.
