About

2024 marks 75 years since the 6th Marquess of Bath opened Longleat's doors to the paying public.
To celebrate this anniversary – and Longleat's place as a pioneering country house visitor attraction – archive photographs, documents and objects relating to the 1949 opening will be on display in the Great Hall and Lower Hotplate Corridor.
