About

Located on the outskirts of town, enjoy another side of Bath with breathtaking views, unique gardens, fascinating museum collections, gallery shop, children’s play area and the American Garden Deli, with its scenic valley terrace.

The Museum’s home is a Grade I listed Georgian estate with a stunning prairie-style garden designed by Oehme, van Sweden, an arboretum and sweeping parkland. Located in the Cotswolds AONB, there are spectacular views across the Limpley Stoke valley.

Visit the Museum, which features American arts and heritage, and experience a special exhibition in the Gallery, as well as a seasonal programme of exciting events, including talks, family fun, outdoor theatre, live music and much more.

The Museum cares for over 12,000 objects, including collections of quilts, folk art and maps, which are recognised as some of the most significant in Europe.
