About

Easter 2025 at The Bishop's Palace is set to be a brilliant time for families!

Pick up their Easter Family Trail from the Ticket Office between 5th – 21st April 2025 and explore 14 acres of beautiful gardens, bursting with new life and wildlife. Children can claim a small prize once they've completed the trail – a little bonus after all that exploring.

The Palace and gardens will be open daily from 9:30am to 5:30pm throughout the Easter holidays. Don't miss a visit to the Dragon's Lair Play Area – the perfect space for children to burn off some energy in a magical setting.

There's family-friendly crafting on Thursday 10th April (11am–3pm), where little ones can make their own Easter Bunny masks and enjoy some relaxed colouring. Then on Saturday 12th April, families can take a step back in time at ther Medieval Falconry Day, with live bird of prey displays at 12pm and 3pm.

Nature lovers can join on Thursday 17th April for our Nature Ninjas Sunflower Seed Sowing (11am–3pm), followed by a quirky historic game with Jeff Loader, The Time Travelling Carpenter, on Saturday 19th April – try your hand at the medieval forerunner to table billiards, played on grass! And don't forget to collect a stamp in your Palace Passport – earn enough and you'll win a prize at the end of the year.
