The Festival of Libraries, organized by Bath and North East Somerset Libraries, is scheduled from February 8 to 22, 2025, offering a variety of free events for all ages. Here are some key events to look forward to:

Crime Writing and Other Stories with Rachel Ward
Date & Time: Saturday, February 15, 11:00 am – 12:00 pm
Location: Bath Central Library
Join author Rachel Ward as she explores the essential elements of a good cozy mystery. The session includes a 45-minute talk followed by a 15-minute Q&A. Topics cover her writing journey, lessons learned, and tips for aspiring writers.

Creative Writing Workshop
Date & Time: Saturday, February 15, 11:00 am – 12:30 pm
Location: Midsomer Norton Library
A free workshop suitable for new writers and those interested in writing for wellbeing. Participants must be aged 16 or over.

Library Collections Showcase
Date & Time: Wednesday, February 19, 2:00 pm – 2:30 pm
Location: Keynsham Library
Discover rare and reference collections in this free event featuring a show-and-tell of rarely seen library materials.

Board Game Fun!
Date & Time: Thursday, February 20, 10:00 am – 4:00 pm
Location: Bath Central Library
Join fellow game enthusiasts for a day of board games. The library will provide a variety of games for participants to enjoy.

Livewell and Partners SEND Drop-in
Date & Time: Monday, February 10, 11:00 am – 3:00 pm
Location: Midsomer Norton Library
