Over at The Botanist, mums will receive a complimentary glass of pink gin punch and a bespoke box of wildflower seeds to plant at home alongside their roast dinner, with live music throughout the afternoon. 

You'll find more delicious roasts along with some special edible treats for mums at one of Butcombe's cosy pubs in and around Bath, such as The Pig & Fiddle, The Quarrymans Arms, and The George Inn. Visit after 3pm and tuck in to three courses for the price of two, with an enticing range of sharing dishes and desserts available. Plus, raise a glass to Mum with 2 cocktails for £15 from 4pm-7pm.

Afternoon tea is another time-honoured way to celebrate, and Bath is the perfect place to enjoy this quintessentially British tradition. Make your afternoon tea extra memorable at one of the city's beautiful historic venues like The Pump Room Restaurant, or head outside of the city to The Bridge Tea Rooms in Bradford on Avon for a fully fledged traditional afternoon tea experience. On the opposite side of Bath, Flourish Foodhall will be marking Mother's Day with a special sparkling afternoon tea, featuring a delightful selection of freshly prepared scones and sandwiches alongside cakes from La Crème Patisserie and a glass of Prosecco. It’s not all about quintessential British fare for Mother’s Day. Head to Côte Brasserie in Milsom Place and indulge in one of their French-inspired Sunday sharing boards, featuring sirloin steak, grilled half chicken or confit pork belly served with three side dishes of your choice. Next door at Indian street food restaurant Bandook, all mums will receive a complimentary dessert after their meal, and at Robun, they can indulge in some spectacular Japanese cuisine for free when dining on 10 March 2024.
