About

The Old Parsonage offers luxury bed & breakfast, and self-catering accommodation in a very convenient location for both tourist and business travellers visiting the West Country. It can easily be reached by public transport and there is ample private off-street parking.

The Old Parsonage was built in the 1680s and was owned by The Duchy of Cornwall for over 200 years and holds an English Heritage Grade II* listing. It retains many of its beautiful period features including wooden paneling, shutters, period open fireplaces, and a wonderful original 17th Century staircase.

Rooms have an interesting collection of antique furniture and beautiful chandeliers combined with modern facilities to make your stay very comfortable and relaxing. The self-catering rooms are very well equipped for short overnight stays as well as longer breaks.

For main house bed & breakfast guests, a traditional cooked English breakfast is provided to suit all dietary requirements . A relaxing guest lounge with a comprehensively stocked honesty bar is also available for you to enjoy.

The self-catering apartments all have private entrances, fully equipped kitchens and dining areas to either prepare a meal or dine-in. Two of the self-catering apartments are pet friendly with a fully enclosed garden for them and guests to enjoy.

The Old Parsonage is are surrounded by country walks, excellent pubs, restaurants and beautiful Somerset villages. Farrington Gurney itself has an excellent pub, award winning Farm shop, a divine Indian restaurant and a superb Golf & Fitness Club.

The Old Parsonage offers a relaxed stay in a pretty village away from busy towns but located central to major Somerset cities and attractions.
