Your adventure will begin with a trip to the iconic Roman Baths, where you'll be able to follow in the foosteps of Bath's earliest residents around the 2,000 year old bathing complex, and have a chance to stay late and enjoy the site's spectacular annual Summer Lates event when visiting before 31 August. Experience the inimitable ambience of the torchlit Great Bath as the summer sun sets, with a pop-up bar, and even live music on selected nights! 

Afterwards, head to the Apex City of Bath Hotel, where you'll be treated to a delicious two-course meal with drinks in the stylish on-site restaurant, The Orange Artichoke. Then bed down for the night in one of the hotel's comfortable modern rooms. 

The following day, venture into the stunning countryside on Bath's doorstep and enjoy a relaxed afternoon exploring the peaceful Grade 1 listed gardens at Iford Manor. Situated on the last hill of the Cotswolds, the gardens are unlike any other, with their romantic design and architecture, combining formality with nature and magnificent views across an unspoilt valley.

When you're ready for refreshments, make your way to the terrace of Iford Manor Kitchen and indulge in a classic afternoon tea, with an assortment of homemade finger sandwiches, scones and a selection of sweet treats – all freshly made by Iford’s talented chefs and served with a pot of Iford tea or Dusty Ape coffee.

• A one-night stay for two people sharing a room at the Apex City of Bath Hotel, including a two-course dinner and drinks for two in The Orange Artichoke restaurant, to be claimed anytime up to 30 September 2026.
