1. Emberwood
The city’s hottest new restaurant will be opening throughout the season for festive feasting, reaching a crescendo with a magnificent five-course feast on Christmas Day for £120 per person. You can expect Emberwood’s twist on the traditional turkey, roasted over the restaurant’s trademark charcoal-fired hearth, as well as a date and Christmas-spiced pudding served with gingerbread ice cream, and much more.
Why not make it a mini-break in Bath and stay in one of the newly refurbished rooms at the neighbouring Francis Hotel? You might even want to push the boat out and book the two or three-night Christmas package, which includes plenty of other luxurious culinary treats.

2. The Bath Stable
Switch up the traditional Christmas lunch and head to The Bath Stable for their two-course festive set menu, available every day of the season, including Christmas Day and Boxing Day! Choose from such delights as the ‘We Brie Kings’ and ‘Festive Full Monty’ pizzas, as well as crowd-pleasing desserts, from Biscoff cheesecake and chocolate brownies to ice cream.
If you’re getting your whole family or group of friends together, make it a festive buffet, available for parties of 20 or more at £17 per person. Complete your meal with one of the restaurant’s festive tipple packages, including mulled cider, wines, lager and more.

3. Bath Pizza Co & Green Park Brasserie
Don’t miss the inimitable festive atmosphere of these beloved sister restaurants, both set in the former Green Park railway station. Along with mouth-watering dishes, you’ll be serenaded with the venue’s usual live music four nights a week from Wednesday-Saturday in the ground floor bar, with the speakeasy-style ‘Upstairs at Bath Pizza Co’ space available for private hire. Both restaurants are open seven days a week throughout the festive season, other than Christmas and Boxing Day.

4. The Botanist
Head to the quirky octagonal surroundings of The Botanist Bath and tuck in to their two or three course festive set menu from £26.95 between 19 November and 24 December. You’ll find an eclectic range of dishes, from the restaurant’s famous turkey hanging kebabs, to Korean fried chicken, mushroom bourguignon pie, and much more. If you fancy something lighter, the restaurant has you covered with their ‘festive finger food’ menu, offering small plates including arancini and mini kebabs, among many others.

5. Côte Brasserie
Next door in Milsom Place, give your Christmas Day meal a French twist at Côte Brasserie Bath. You’ll savour four courses for £87.95, including a starter, main, dessert and cheese board. As if that wasn’t enough, your meal will also be accompanied by a complimentary glass of fizz, along with a warm mince pie and your choice of hot drink to finish. You can also visit the restaurant anytime between 19 November and 24 December and try their three-course ‘Menu de Noël,’ consisting of a starter, main, dessert and a glass of fizz. Take your pick from the selection of innovative and unusual dishes, including a baked Christmas tree, roast turkey ballotine, La Bûche Rouge, and much more.

6. The Ivy Bath Brasserie
Where better to savour a Christmas meal than one of Bath’s most opulent restaurants? As ever, The Ivy Bath Brasserie is pulling out all the stops this festive season, with a spectacular two or three course menu packed full of seasonal British classics, from smoked salmon and sirloin steak to traditional Christmas pudding and a stilton cheeseboard. Plus, visit on 26 December and join the restaurant’s Boxing Day Brunch, or stop by to enjoy The Ivy’s festive breakfast menu any day between 12 November and 4 January, other than Christmas Day.

7. The Beefy Boys
One of Bath’s finest burger purveyors is serving up a suitably meaty three-course set menu from 27 November until 23 December. Start with a ‘piggy platter’ of the all-important pigs in blankets, then follow up with your choice of the restaurant’s succulent selection of single patty burgers and loaded fries, finishing with a fabulously festive pudding.

8. Robun
Take a trip to Tokyo without leaving Bath this Christmas with Robun’s festive menu of sensational Japanese dishes, alongside a special ‘Winter Royal’ cocktail. 10. The Bath Priory Restaurant
Set within four acres of beautifully landscaped gardens in Bath’s leafy western suburbs, The Bath Priory Restaurant is a more peaceful option for your Christmas meal out. Take your pick from a three or five course menu to remember, both featuring a show-stopping series of dishes crafted using the finest seasonal ingredients. Or go for the festive afternoon tea bedecked with an array of seasonal cakes and pastries, along with the usual warm scones and delicate finger sandwiches.
The Bath Priory Restaurant’s festive menu is available from 26 November until 21 December, while the festive afternoon tea is available from 29 November until 23 December.
