2. Bath on Ice and Glow Golf

Get your skates on and head to Royal Victoria Park for a spin on Bath’s festive outdoor ice rink. As one of Bath’s biggest winter attractions, Bath on Ice offers much more than your standard ice-skating rink, with glow-in-the-dark mini-golf and deliciously warming food and drink on offer.
3. Après Ski Bar at Abbey Hotel

No, you’re not in the Alps, but you’ll feel like you are at Abbey Hotel’s Après-Ski Bar! Step into the snow-topped Alpine lodge or snuggle up outside under a woolly blanket and enjoy hearty food and a steaming mulled wine.
4. A Very Colourful Christmas at the American Museum & Gardens

Inspired by a love of colour, pattern and texture and Clement Clarke Moore's 'Twas The Night Before Christmas, the American Museum & Gardens are putting on the family-friendly A Very Colourful Christmas. The museum's festive schedule of events includes a family fun trail, craft fair, and the opportunity to meet Santa.
5. Bath Christmas Market

Regularly voted as one of the most popular Christmas markets in the UK, the 18-day shopping extravaganza provides a magical shopping experience which is bound to get you into the festive spirit. This year’s event will see over 150 beautifully decorated chalets offering high-quality, artisan products. Bath Christmas Market is proud to be distinctively British, with the very best local craft makers and designers from the South West region, including over 30 brand-new stallholders, showcasing their unique, high-quality artisan gifts.
You'll also find a range of tasty freshly prepared food, including burgers, hog roasts and caramelised nuts, and this year, there is also a new dedicated vegan food chalet. Stop off at the two charity chalets, which will be run by different charities each day. With sustainability at the heart of Bath Christmas Market, be sure to pick up a Huskup from the Visitor Information Centre for your on-the-go festive hot drinks, and download the Refill app to find all the places in the city where you can refill your water bottle.
6. The Lodge

At the epicentre of Bath Christmas Market is the pop-up Lodge in Stall Street. Brought to you by Bath Ales and Framptons Café Bar and Kitchen, The Lodge offers a rustic and festive atmosphere to relax in. Enjoy locally brewed beers and warming mulled wines as you unwind after a busy day of Christmas shopping.
7. Luxury Gift Wrapping Station
28th November–24th December 2019
Once you've snapped up all your Christmas gifts, head to Union Street, where experts will be on-hand to beautifully wrap your presents. The service is free, but with a suggested donation to local homeless charity Julian House.
8. Shoppers’ Carols at Bath Abbey

Rest your weary legs and enjoy some festive cheer at one of Bath Abbey’s shoppers’ carol services. Enjoy an informal service with traditional carols in stunning surrounds.
9. Guildhall Christmas Marquees and Chalets

Take a stroll through Bath Guildhall Market, the oldest shopping venue in the city, and you'll find the annual Guildhall Christmas Marquees and Chalets. 13. Bath Christmas Market Experiences

Make your trip to Bath Christmas Market even more special with a Bath Christmas Market Experience package. This year's pantomime at Theatre Royal Bath is one of the most popular fairy-tales of all, Beauty and the Beast. Starring Wendi Peters (Coronation Street, Hetty Feather), Nick Wilton (Eastenders) and Bath favourite Jon Monie, this will be an unmissable Christmas spectacular.
16. Victorian Carousel

Bath’s beloved Christmas carousel will be making a welcome return to the city this festive season. Enjoy a whirl on the beautiful Victorian carousel, which will be stationed in Stall Street.
17. Rupert and the Frog Song and The Snowman at The Forum, Bath
Saturday 21st December 2019
This Christmas, Bath Philharmonia will skilfully play along to a double bill of film classics on the big screen at The Forum. It wouldn't be Christmas without The Snowman, and the full symphony orchestra will perform Howard Blake's score live to Raymond Briggs' charming animation. Bath Philharmonia, accompanied by guest singers and choir, are also excited to be giving the first-ever live performance of Rupert and the Frog Song, featuring Sir Paul McCartney's hit We All Stand Together. A perfect festive treat for the whole family.
