THE PIG-near Bath
The PIG-near Bath's restaurant plans to reopen to visitors on Monday 12th April 2021, subject to Government restrictions. They will be launching their Big Outdoor Lunch, offering alfresco dining on their terrace. Please check their website and social media channels for further updates and booking details.
A restaurant with 29 bedrooms, THE PIG-near Bath sits in the heart of the rolling Mendip hills.
With an obsessive commitment to home-grown and local produce, celebrating the seasons and using only the best, freshest and most authentic foods and ingredients, it is all about their Kitchen Garden, the beating heart of the operation. Everything is driven by THE PIG's gardeners, forager and chefs – they grow and find the food, with the chef then creating the menu of uncomplicated and simple British garden food, true to the micro-seasons with the emphasis squarely on fresh, clean flavours.
What cannot be grown in the restaurant's Kitchen Garden is sourced from within a 25-mile radius. With a bountiful selection of farmers and food producers based in the county of Somerset (one of the largest county amounts in the UK), THE PIG-near Bath is lucky enough to work with some of the best!
