About

RSPB Ham Wall will be busting with life at the time of year including year round residents such Bitterns lurking in the reeds, Egrets fishing on the water's edge, and Marsh Harriers hunting and gliding through the air and seasonal visitors, including the sound of Cuckoos ringing across the reserve, Warblers nesting in the reedbeds and Swifts screaming through the air.

Learn about how the site was used before it was a Nature Reserve and hear how the reserve was created, including volunteers growing and planting reeds by hand in the early days to how it is managed for the wildlife that lives here now.
