Come and see the family of swans exploring the moat, relax on the South Lawn with a picnic, explore the gardens with the Half Term trail, and get creative with Art Adventurers.

May Half Term Family Trail

Explore 14 acres of RHS partner gardens to find the swans hidden around the grounds and uncover fascinating facts about these special birds.

✂️ May Half Term Art Adventurers Crafting

Thursday 28 May 2026 | 11am – 3pm
Join in the Palace's atmospheric Undercroft for a special Art Adventurers crafting session, where families will create paper swans to take home their very own Bishop's Palace swan.

Cool off in the NEW Splash Play Zone, discover the Palace's rich history with a multimedia family tour, explore the latest garden exhibition from Jenny Pickford, and relax in The Bishop's Table café with a children's menu available.

All May Half Term activities are included with general admission to The Bishop's Palace.
