Get your spook on at Bath's spine-tingling selection of Halloween events. 

With the area home to two award-winning scare attractions, plus a range of ghoulish tours and experiences, there are plenty of thrills in store, guaranteed to test the nerve of even the bravest visitors! 

Enjoy a Halloween adrenaline rush 

Dare to venture out After Dark at Mary Shelley's House of Frankenstein. This year, the attraction's notorious horror event has intensified further than ever before, with new special effects, crawl spaces and mazes to experience across four floors, all while immersed in disorienting darkness. Will you avoid being captured by the meancing 'Cleansers' and escape to freedom? There's only one way to find out... 

Head a few miles west of the city centre for a bloody good night at the UK's number one scream park, FEAR, but be warned that the amusements are not for the faint-hearted! Face your fears in four terrifying themed mazes, where you'll encounter everything from depraved clowns to hair-raising zombies, and dial up the horror level even further by joining an optional live exorcism. You'll also find fire shows, thrilling funfair rides, and roaming entertainers on site to keep your pulse racing all night long. 

Back in the city centre, discover Bath's dark side with Bath Ghost Tours, where you'll hear tales of murder, mayhem, duels, tortures and even romantic elopements. Along the way, you'll have the opportunity to join in with a genuine paranormal experiment, and other audience participation opportunities. 

Pick your perfect pumpkin 

Find the all-important pumpkins for carving at one of the many patches across Bath. At Avon Valley, grab a wheelbarrow and choose from a huge selection of handsome gourds by day or by night, when the patch is transformed into a mini-festival, with lights, street food stalls, firepits, entertainment, and a pop-up bar. 

Just up the road at Flourish, you'll find over 20 varieties of pumpkin, from the 'Polar Bears' to the 'Munchkins,' and a pop-up 'Museum of Pumpkinology,' where you can discover everything you never knew about the world's favourite Halloween fruit, as well as other creative uses for pumpkins. The farm will also be hosting a range of other fun activities, including a culinary-themed escape room, murder mystery maze and twilight maze on select evenings, where you'll have to navigate eerie sights and sounds under the night sky armed only with a torch. 

South of Bath at Farrington's Farm, there's a chance to reap the rewards of Farmer Ross' thousands of pumpkin seeds on a huge, twelve-acre patch. Will you go for a classic 'Cinderella' pumpkin, a white 'ghost' pumpkin, a knobbly 'knucklehead' pumpkin, or something completely different?
