About

Avon Valley's pumpkin extravaganza is back for another sensational season! They've got a super selection of homegrown field pumpkins and the pumpkin market will be bursting with a wide choice of speciality squashes, gourds and decorations!

Open weekends from the 27th September and all through half term until the 31st October. They are the South West's biggest pumpkin event! Home to an authentic pumpkin patch, grown with 36 years PYO experience by the Douglas family and 14 years experience delivering extraordinary events. Avon Valley offer a wholesome autumnal excursion and a backdrop to some beautiful seasonal photos.

Our themed characters will be dressed to impress and entertain while you enjoy seasonal drinks and street food from the bar area. If this isn't enough, you can try out our seasonal stalls including apple slingshot, the apple cannon and cornholing! There is a small funfair to enjoy too.

Open for days between 10am and 5pm. Pumpkin Patch Nights also available.

Adventure
Grab a wheelbarrow and roam through the massive pumpkin patch to pick your perfect pumpkin. Don't want to get muddy? Choose a pumpkin from the event area, they'll have a huge selection of gourd-geous gourds and super squashes for you to choose from. Pumpkins are priced depending on size.

Entertainment*
Theatrical Performers & Fire Shows. Shake your BOO-ty with our Spooky Farm Family and their 'Spirit of the Pumpkin' dance routine. The Spooky Family like to wander the patch and make new friends too. Fireshows are every 30 minutes in the pumpkin market.

Tasty Treats
Snack on a variety of options, warm up with a mug of hot chocolate or a drink from the licensed bar. ​​​​​​'The Pumpkin & Firkin' will be serving up delicious street food and pizzas. They have veggie, vegan, meat and GF options. Fresh doughnuts, loaded popcorn and smores & marshmallow toasting station also open. Food and Drinks are an additional charge.

Seasonal fun and games
Pumpkin Paintball, Seasonal Slingshot and Fire an Apple Cannon! Not included in the event entry ticket.

Funfair
Porters funfair is at the patch with rides for all ages to enjoy including dodgems, mini cars and the sizzler! Not included in the event entry ticket.

Fiendish Fashion
Dress to impress and show everyone your best halloween outfits!

Selfie Time
Wrap up warm in your seasonal finest and enjoy the Halloween & Autumnal atmosphere. There'll be loads of photo opportunities in the event area and you can take some amazing pictures in and around the Massive Pumpkin Patch. Totally instagramable fill your stories with your day and choose your favourite for the grid.

360 Degree Camera
Set your phone to record and bust out your best dance routine in your seasonal finest with your friends and family!

Last entry is at 3pm and the site closes at 4pm.

Tickets:
Pumpkin Patch tickets do not give you access to Avon Valley Adventure & Wildlife Park which is closed at this time.

Tickets from £7.99 online in advance plus booking fee.

Tickets to this event sell out early year on year so please book in advance to avoid disappointment.

*Please note that if you choose to go on the rides or use the side stalls, these are charged separately. Pumpkins are not included in your event entry ticket.

Free car-parking. This is an outdoor event so please dress for the weather, the patch can get muddy so boots or wellies are advised. Book early to avoid disappointment as this popular event does sell out. On the door tickets carry a surcharge.
