About

Discover the archer in you! Join people across the UK embarking on a thrilling archery adventure this Start Archery Week.

Saturday 4th May to Sunday 12th May

Mendip Activity Centre is taking part in this nationwide event, offering taster archery sessions to wannabe Robin Hood's, Katniss Everdeen's or anyone who fancies trying something different with family and friends this spring.

This is a great introduction to the sport of archery. You'll cover the basics of using a bow to shoot arrows at bulleye targets. Your fully qualified instructor will coach you and use fun games and challenges to get the most out of your session. All taster archery sessions take place on their brand new permanent covered target sport ranges.

Booking in advance is required.

These activities are suitable for anyone aged eight or over. You have the option to book individual spaces on this session or, if no spaces have sold, you can book the session exclusively for your group of up to 12 people by selecting the "Private group" option. If you book the session exclusively they can relax the age restriction and you can bring children aged six or seven.
