About

The Bishop's Palace proudly presents 'The Costumes of Wolf Hall' Exhibition showcasing original garments worn in the award-winning BBC series Wolf Hall: The Mirror and the Light. Costumes are on loan from BAFTA- and Oscar-winning Angels Costume Company.

Featuring costumes worn by Damian Lewis as Henry VIII, gowns worn by Kate Phillips (Jane Seymour), Lilit Lesser (Lady Mary), and Summer Richards as (Catherine Howard), and a behind-the-scenes look at the sets and props used at the Palace

This exhibition will be located throughout September 2025 in the Palace's Conference Room on the first floor (the first floor can also be accessed via a lift, located on the left in the Entrance Hall).

The Costumes of Wolf Hall Exhibition is included with admission to The Bishop's Palace, including Day and Joint Tickets, the Annual Pass, and Friends of the Palace/Membership.
