Join a quest through the Roman Baths to discover the gods and goddesses of Ancient Rome, take part in some Georgian-style dressing up at No.1 Royal Crescent, or watch a circus show and meet the witch at Wookey Hole Caves.
Get creative with The Big Draw Festival at The Assembly Rooms, LEGO at the American Museum & Gardens, crafting sessions at Holburne Museum, or make your own flying comet at Herschel Museum.
Get out and about in nature with a visit to Westonbirt, The National Arboretum and enjoy the crunch of fallen leaves under your feet, or explore their Ballad of Birtha autumn trail. Explore acres of grounds at Dyrham Park, Prior Park Landscape Garden or Bowood House & Gardens all of which have themed trails for you to discover. Haynes Motor Museum also have a new trail, the Big Bug Hunt!
Visit Avon Valley Railway for a family-friendly weekend at their 'It's a Hoot' event, or get up close with the animals before carving pumpkins and driving a mini-tractor at Longleat Safari Park.
If you want to head indoors, catch a show at one of Bath's fantastic theatres, or marvel at Gaia, the seven-metre globe floating in Bath Abbey as part of the Treasuring Creation Festival.
Looking for a spooky day out? Experience an American-style Halloween day out at the American Museum & Gardens, or have a go at picking your own pumpkin at Avon Valley Adventure & Wildlife Park. Kids aged 11 - 15 can also experience the thrill of Avon Valley's FEARless scare mazes on 21 and 28 October!
