About

Meet. Create. Innovate.

The Wildscreen Festival, the largest global gathering of natural world storytellers, returns this autumn. This unique hybrid event will take place in the heart of Bristol, with more delegates expected than ever before. Running from 19-22 October 2026, the festival offers a dynamic programme featuring headliners, panels, exclusive film screenings, and in-person networking opportunities.

Since its founding in 1982 to honor the art of natural world storytelling, Wildscreen Festival has continued to unite filmmakers, photographers, scientists, and broadcasters. Over its 42-year history, it has served as a global hub for ideas and innovation, launched award-winning talent, and fostered new partnerships and collaborations.

The festival is open to all, inviting as many people as possible to connect with the natural world, feel a part of it, and be inspired to protect it. Attendees can experience live events at venues across Bristol or choose from hybrid or fully virtual ticket options, making the festival accessible to a global audience.

Wildscreen are thrilled to announce that this year the Festival is being held at the four-star Apex City of Bath Hotel, based just a stone’s throw away from the city’s top sights and the perfect place to base yourself for the week! The  hotel is also kindly providing a 10% discount on room bookings during the week of the Festival - your  code will be included in your ticket confirmation details after booking.

Live industry events take place at the Apex City of Bath Hotel from Monday 19 – Wednesday 21 October. On Thursday 22 October, curated 1-1 meetings, workshops and masterclasses will take place at various locations around Bristol and Bath.

The Wildscreen Panda Awards Ceremony will take place in Bath on the evening of Thursday 22 October – tickets are sold separately.

Super Early Bird Passes for the Festival are  available to book until 31 March 2026.
