About

Bishopstrow Hotel & Spa, escape the everyday

Situated on 30 acres of grounds in the Wiltshire countryside, with their own access to The River Wylye and within easy reach of all the main local attractions, sits a stunning country house hotel and spa, owned by seasoned hoteliers Ian & Christa Taylor, renowned for their glam renovations of many hotels across the region.

Bishopstrow is a little of what you might expect from a luxury hotel and spa destination, yet a lot of what you won’t. Take dining for instance. Of course, they cater for all ages, every palate and any occasion, with contemporary menus served within classic Georgian surroundings.

Bishopstrow’s restaurant is kitted out with awe-inspiring décor, floor to ceiling windows and the finest art pieces, perfect for musing over. There’s also a cosy lounge and opulent drawing room for afternoon tea, a conservatory for the warmer months and a beautiful terrace, complete with a sumptuous olive tree and oversized dining sets to slump into whilst catching some rays, enjoying the remarkable views of the pasture that surrounds.

Breathtaking views are arguably what they do best here. But then that’s the allure of sitting in the heart of Wiltshire’s idyllic countryside. Every window in every room boasts a beautiful vista. And naturally, views, colours and hues change dramatically with every season. As for the room’s superior interiors, you’ll have to visit to get a closer look. A little insight though, there’s four recently refurbished Hot Tub Junior Suites that give you that ‘ooh la’ feel as you saunter on by.

Whether it's a spa day, a wellness weekend or a spa staycation, the spa is the perfect place for rest, relaxation and rejuvenation.

Retreat into the blissful boutique spa and unwind with one of their many Elemis treatments or simply enjoy the thermal experiences, indoor or outdoor heated pools, tennis courts and life fitness suite. The tranquil spa will exceed your high expectations, making sure mind, body and soul will be left feeling refreshed and fantastic.
