10 money saving hacks for your trip to Bath this summer

1. Affordable accommodation

One of the best views of Bath is from Alexandra Park. Grab a picnic and head on up the hill for lunch with a magnificent view over the city, for next to nothing!

6. Budget bathing

A couple of hours floating in the rooftop pool of Thermae Bath Spa is worth every penny, but here’s a tip - for almost half the price you can book a 90 minute session in the Cross Bath, a standalone, open-air thermal bath fed by its own natural spring.

7. Free museums

The city boasts loads of fantastic museums and art galleries. The Victoria Art Gallery and The Holburne Museum are not only superb attractions to visit, but they’re both free to enter as well.

8. Early bird offers

Bath has many fantastic restaurants to choose from. Many run early diner offers, which are a great way to enjoy a several courses of delicious food for a great price. Browse a list here. 

9. Bargain theatre tickets

Call in at the Theatre Royal to see if they have any tickets left for shows that evening. If so, you can pick up a ticket for £6, or a standing place for just £4.

10. Two for one cocktails

If you like a tasty tipple, try one of Bath’s many cool cocktail bars. You can find two for one offers at Sub 13, Opa and Circo. Enjoy!
